Marketing drip message campaigns can be an effective way to engage your audience and nurture leads over time. By automating the process of sending timed messages, you can deliver targeted content to your customers at the right moment. SKEDit allows you to create and manage drip campaigns across various platforms such as WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, SMS, and Email. In this article, we will guide you through the steps of setting up a marketing drip message campaign using SKEDit.
- Open SKEDit's main menu: To get started, open the SKEDit app on your device and tap on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will open the main menu where you can access various features and settings.
- Tap on Drip Message Campaigns: Within the main menu, you will find the option "Drip Message Campaigns." Tap on it to enter the drip campaign management section.
- Select the service: In the drip message campaign screen, you will see a list of services you can use for your campaign, such as WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, SMS, or Email. Choose the service that aligns with your marketing objectives.
- Create your campaign: After selecting the desired service, you will be redirected to the campaign creation page. Here, you need to enter a title for your campaign and compose the text for the first message of the drip campaign. Additionally, you can include attachments such as images or files to enhance your message.
- Set the time for the first message: Tap on the "Set time" option to specify the time when you want the first message of your drip campaign to be sent. You don't have to enter the date at this stage; that will be done later when creating your schedule. You can link your drip campaign to a schedule, allowing you to define a specific date for the beginning of the drip campaign.
- Save the first message: Once you have composed the first message and set the time, save it to finalize the creation of your drip campaign's initial message.
- Add new messages: Now that you have created the first message, you can proceed to add additional messages to your drip campaign. Tap the button to create a new message within the campaign.
- Set the time and delay for subsequent messages: For each new message you create, you need to define the time it should be sent and the number of days after the first message you want it to be delivered. This allows you to control the timing and sequence of your drip campaign messages. For example, if you set "7" in the "days after" field, the message will be sent 7 days after the first message.
- Create multiple messages: Repeat the process of adding new messages as needed to create a sequence of messages within your drip marketing campaign. Each new message requires its designated time of sending and the number of days after the first message for its delivery.
After you have created your drip campaign and its messages, the next step is to link it to a schedule for automated sending. Here's how you can do it:
- Create a new schedule: Just like you would normally create a schedule in SKEDit, go ahead and create a new one.
- Select the drip message campaign checkbox: Within the scheduling screen, you will find an option to select the drip message campaign checkbox. This indicates that you want to link your schedule to a specific drip campaign.
- Choose a campaign to link: From the list of drip campaigns available, choose the campaign that you want to link to the schedule. This will ensure that the scheduled messages are part of that particular campaign.
- Add recipients to the Drip Campaign: You can now add recipients to your drip campaign. These recipients will start receiving messages from the first campaign message on the day specified within the schedule.
- Select a start date for the campaign: When setting up the schedule, you need to specify a start date for the campaign. This is the date when the first message of the campaign will be sent to the recipients. Choose a date that aligns with your marketing strategy and objectives. Note: Drip Campaigns have a fixed timing and cannot be changed from the scheduling screen. The timings of the messages will follow exactly how you set them up when creating the drip campaign.
- Save your scheduled campaign: Once you have set up the schedule and linked it to the drip campaign, save your scheduled campaign. This will activate the automated sending of messages according to the specified timings and dates.
By linking your drip campaign to a schedule, you ensure that your messages are sent at the right time, to your target audience, in a consistent manner. It allows you to automate the process of sending timely messages across multiple platforms with a few taps. Take advantage of this powerful tool to nurture leads, build relationships, and ultimately boost your marketing efforts.
