How to Create a Drip Message Campaign
Send a sequence of scheduled messages to the same recipients across different days and times — each with its own text, attachments, and channel.
What Is a Drip Message Campaign?
A drip message campaign lets you create multiple scheduled messages — each with unique text and attachments — that are delivered to the same recipients on different dates and times.
Open Drip Message Campaigns
Open the SKEDit menu and select Drip Message Campaigns.
Choose the Campaign Channel
On the Drip Campaign Channels screen, select the channel you want to use — for example WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Email, Telegram, Messenger, or Instagram.
Start a New Campaign
You will be taken to the Created Drip Campaigns screen. Tap the (+) button at the bottom-right corner to begin creating a new campaign.
Tap "Set Your First Message"
On the Create Drip Message Campaign screen, tap Set your First Message to begin configuring the first message in your sequence.
Configure the First Message
Fill in the following fields:
- Date — the date for the first message is always set to Day 1 by default.
- Set Time — choose the time the message should be sent.
- Campaign Title — give your campaign a name.
- Schedule To — pick the schedule type: Contacts / Groups, Status, or WhatsApp Broadcast Lists.
- Message — add your text. You can include placeholders or apply a custom-created template.
- Attachment — optional; attach media or documents if needed.
Only the scheduling time is saved in the message template. The actual start date for the first message is selected later in the scheduling screen, and every following message is calculated from that starting date.
Add More Messages to the Campaign
You have now created the first message of your drip campaign. SKEDit will redirect you back to the ongoing campaign creation screen, where each message you add appears as a new day in the timeline.
Tap the (+) button to add another scheduled message to the same campaign. Repeat this for as many messages as your campaign needs.
Every message inside a drip campaign can have its own custom schedule type. For example, one message can target Contacts / Groups while another targets Status or a WhatsApp Broadcast List — all within the same campaign.
Quick Summary
Open Drip Message Campaigns, choose a channel, tap (+) to start a new campaign, configure your first message (Day 1), then keep adding more messages with the (+) button. Each message in the campaign can have its own text, attachments, and schedule type — all sent to the same recipients across different days.
