Message Templates: Setup Guide
Save pre-made messages with text and attachments, then drop them into any scheduled message in seconds.
What Are Message Templates?
Message Templates let you build a reusable message — complete with text and attachments — that can be added to any scheduled message with a single tap. They eliminate the need to retype the same content or re-attach the same files every time you schedule a similar message.
Open Message Templates
Open the SKEDit menu and tap Message Templates.
Select a Channel
Choose the channel you want to create the template for — for example, WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp, Email, Telegram, Messenger, or Instagram.
Start a New Template
Tap the (+) button at the bottom-right corner of the screen. You will be redirected to the template creation screen.
Build the Template
Fill in the template fields in this order:
- Add a Template Title to identify the template later.
- Enter the message text in the text field.
- Attach any media or documents you want included with the template (optional).
- Tap the check mark at the top-right corner to confirm and save the template.
The check mark at the upper-right corner is what finalizes the template. Without tapping it, the template will not be saved.
Template Saved
Once confirmed, your template appears in the Created Templates screen, ready to be used in any scheduled message.
Add a Template to a Scheduled Message
Open the SKEDit scheduling screen for your chosen channel, then tap the template button located next to the Message field. Pick the template you want to apply, and its title, text, and attachments will be inserted into the scheduled message automatically.
The template button is one of the icons displayed next to the Message field on the scheduling screen.
Quick Summary
Open Message Templates from the SKEDit menu, pick a channel, tap (+), fill in the title, text, and attachments, and confirm with the check mark. Then, when scheduling a message, tap the template button next to the Message field to instantly load any saved template.
