Understanding Sending Logs in SKEDit
SKEDit offers a Sending Logs option that helps you understand why a scheduled message failed. This guide explains how to open the Sending Logs screen and what the most common failure reasons mean.
What are Sending Logs?
Sending Logs provide additional details about the sending process and explain why a scheduled message did not complete successfully.
How to Open Sending Logs
- Open SKEDit and locate the scheduled card that failed.
- Tap the 3-dot menu on that scheduled card.
- From the menu that appears, tap Sending Logs.
- You will be redirected to the Sending Logs screen.
- Tap any available schedule in the Sending Logs screen to view the specific reason for failure.
Most Common Sending Logs Failures
Below are the most common Sending Logs errors and what they usually mean.
Accessibility Service Not Running
This Sending Logs error indicates that the Android Accessibility Service is no longer running properly.
To resolve this issue, please check the article Accessibility Keeps Disabling Automatically.
Open WA Failed
This Sending Logs error means SKEDit failed to open WhatsApp at the scheduled time, so the message could not be sent.
Please check the article Managing Screen-Lock to understand how to resolve this issue.
SearchView Not Found
This Sending Logs error usually occurs because the contact search takes too long during the sending process, causing the automation to fail.
This issue usually happens when WhatsApp is overloaded, especially on low-range or outdated devices.
- Go to SKEDit Settings.
- Set Number of recipients per send / batch to 1.
- Set Sending Speed to Slowest.
If the issue is not resolved after changing these settings, keep them as they are and clean up WhatsApp by deleting unnecessary chats in bulk.
If the problem still continues after all of these changes, the remaining solution may be to upgrade to a newer device with a stronger processor.
Send Button Not Found
This Sending Logs error usually occurs because of a cold start. This means that when the device has not been used for a long time, SKEDit may fail to wake up the device properly at the scheduled time.
Post Status is Failed
This error usually occurs due to using a specific End After sequence in the schedule configuration.
Contact Match Failed
This Sending Logs error occurs when SKEDit is unable to find or match the recipient in WhatsApp.
- The number is not saved in WhatsApp
- The number format is incorrect (missing + and country code)
- Single Contact Sending Mode is not enabled in SKEDit settings
- The contact name was entered manually and does not exactly match WhatsApp
To resolve this issue, ensure the number is correctly formatted, saved in WhatsApp, or enable Single Contact Sending Mode when sending to unsaved numbers.
Schedule Alarm Delayed
This Sending Logs error occurs when SKEDit is prevented from starting the sending process at the scheduled time.
- Using a screen lock type not supported by SKEDit
- Something is displayed on the screen at the scheduled time
- The device prevents SKEDit from auto-unlocking
- Background restrictions or system interference
To avoid this issue, ensure your screen lock is supported, your device is idle at the scheduled time, and no apps are blocking SKEDit from opening the required channel.
Summary
Sending Logs are the best place to start when a scheduled message fails. They help identify whether the issue is related to accessibility, screen-lock configuration, WhatsApp loading time, device performance, or schedule settings.
