How to Schedule a WhatsApp Status Message
Use SKEDit to schedule text, image, and video posts directly to your WhatsApp Status at any time you choose.
About WhatsApp Status Scheduling
SKEDit supports scheduling messages directly to your WhatsApp Status. Select the Status schedule type, add your content, set the time, and SKEDit will post it for you automatically.
Select the Status Schedule Type
Open the SKEDit scheduling screen and tap the Schedule Type dropdown menu at the top. From the list, choose Status. You have now enabled the Status type of scheduled message.
Add Your Text and Attachments
Type your message in the Message field, then tap the attachment icon below the text field to add images or videos to your Status post.
Video Length Limit
For Status type scheduled messages, WhatsApp only permits videos that are 90 seconds or shorter. Anything beyond that will be truncated by WhatsApp.
Set the Date and Time
Scroll to the Schedule section and choose the date and time when the Status post should go live. You can also configure repeat options if needed.
Confirm the Scheduled Message
Scroll back to the top of the scheduling screen and tap the check mark to confirm and save your scheduled Status post.
Scheduling Multiple Attachments?
If your scheduled Status includes a bulk number of attachments, head to the SKEDit Settings screen and change the Sending speed for greater reliability:
Quick Summary
Set Schedule Type to Status, add your text and attachments (videos must be 90 seconds or shorter), set the date and time, then tap the check mark to confirm. For bulk attachments, lower the Sending speed to Slowest or Slowest+ in Settings.
