Subscription Didn't Renew? Update Your Payment Method
If your card expired or ran out of credit, update your Google Play payment information to renew your SKEDit Premium Subscription.
Why Your Subscription Didn't Renew
SKEDit's Premium Subscription is billed through Google Play. If the card linked to your Google account has expired or has insufficient credit, Google Play cannot process the renewal and your subscription stops. You will need to update your payment information directly in Google Pay to get billing back on track.
Two Common Causes
The card's expiration date has passed and Google Play cannot use it for the renewal charge.
The card does not have enough available balance or credit to cover the subscription fee.
Open Payment Methods
At the top-left of the page, tap Menu, then select Payment methods.
Edit Your Card
Find the credit card you want to update and tap Edit next to it. Update the details that need correcting and save your changes.
Tip — Fixing an Expired Card
To update the expiration date or security code of an expired card, look for the Fix button next to the card on the Payment methods page. After tapping Fix, enter the following details:
What Happens Next
Once your payment method is updated and verified, Google Play will retry the renewal automatically. Your SKEDit Premium Subscription will resume, and any paused scheduled messages will return to normal.
Quick Summary
Go to pay.google.com, open the Menu, choose Payment methods, and Edit the affected card. For an expired card, use the Fix shortcut and re-enter the MM, YY, and CVC. Google Play will retry the renewal automatically once the card is valid.
