Is there a limit on the number of WhatsApp recipients I can schedule a message to?
For SKEDit Max users, there's no limit on the number of recipients you can add to a schedule. However, for our Pro subscribers, there's a maximum of 30 recipients per schedule.
Can I schedule two or more WhatsApp messages at the exact same time?
You cannot schedule two or more WhatsApp messages at the exact same time. Each message must have a unique scheduled time to ensure reliable delivery. Attempting to schedule multiple messages for the same time can result in various issues, including some messages failing, or even sending a message to the wrong recipient.
To avoid these problems, always schedule messages with slightly different timings. The time it takes for messages to send can vary based on device performance, but as a general estimate, it's around 35-60 seconds for 10-15 recipients.
Why am I getting "Contact Match Failed" error?
This error is likely due to issues related to how the recipient's contact information is saved or entered. To prevent this error, consider the following tips:
- Avoid Duplicate Names: Ensure that you don't have multiple recipients with identical names in your phonebook.
- Accurate Manual Entry: When manually entering a recipient's information, double-check that you've correctly typed their name.
- Check Device Storage: Verify that your device has sufficient available RAM and storage space to handle the message sending process. Insufficient storage can hinder the sending process.
- Processor Performance: Ensure that your device is equipped with a capable processor. Underpowered processors may struggle with message sending, leading to the error.
- Avoid Interruptions: Do NOT tap on the screen during the sending process.
Why is the schedule succeeding in the first repeat, but then it fails?
Your scheduled messages may fail after periods of inactivity or on repeat attempts, and two common causes could be at play. First, Android devices may have Battery Optimization enabled, which can disable SKEDit's Accessibility settings and disrupt message automation. Second, on certain devices, Auto-start is disabled by default for all apps, hindering SKEDit's message delivery.
To address these issues, consult the article on "How to Set Up SKEDit Settings on your Android Device" for instructions on resolving both concerns.
Why was my WA message sent to wrong contact?
- Avoid Time Conflicts: Never schedule multiple WhatsApp messages for the exact same time to prevent delivery issues or recipient mismatches. Space them a few minutes apart as needed.
- Ensure Unique Contacts: Each contact should have a unique name; avoid duplicates, identical group or Broadcast List names, and emojis in contact names.
- No Tapping During Automation: Don't tap the screen during message automation to prevent SKEDit from selecting the wrong recipient. Wait until delivery is complete before using your device.
"Some attachment paths are no longer valid. Skipping them." - Why am I getting this error?
This error may occur for two common reasons:
- File on External Memory: If the file you're attaching is on your device's external memory card, move it to internal memory to resolve the issue.
- If you have unstilled reinstalled SKEDit, make sure to re-add the attachments for previously created schedules.
SKEDit supports Dual WhatsApp
Which Android OS versions does SKEDit support?
SKEDit supports Android operating systems from OS 7 to OS 15. Note that devices running OS versions earlier than 11 may experience slower performance, potentially leading to issues during the sending process.
Why is SKEDit failing on my Xiaomi, Poco, Redmi device?
On some Android devices, background services might not automatically restart if they end unexpectedly or after a device reboot. This can hinder SKEDit's ability to deliver messages as intended.
Ensure you tap the (RED TRIANGLE) at the top-right corner of the scheduling screen and complete all required settings before creating a scheduled message. If a message is scheduled without configuring these settings, it may cause accessibility issues. In such cases, uninstall and reinstall SKEDit, then tap the (RED TRIANGLE) again and follow the steps to configure all required settings. Make sure the (RED TRIANGLE) no longer appears before scheduling a new message
To resolve this issue, please ensure that you have configured the necessary settings correctly on your device. You can refer to the guide titled "How to Set Up SKEDit Settings on your Android Device" for detailed steps specific to your device.
"Current WhatsApp Version is Incompatible" - What does this mean?
"When you see 'Current WhatsApp Version is incompatible' in SKEDit, it means either your WhatsApp or SKEDit is outdated or a new WhatsApp version isn't yet compatible. To fix it, ensure both SKEDit and WhatsApp are updated. If it's due to a new WhatsApp version, a fix may come in a few days.
"HTTP 503 Service Unavailable: Back-end server is at capacity." - Why am I getting this error?
This error indicates that SKEDit is temporarily unavailable due to server maintenance or downtime. Such issues are infrequent and typically resolved within 2 days. If the problem persists longer than expected, please contact us at contact@skedit.io for further assistance.
Why are my attachments not sending with Email Scheduling?
Email attachments must upload to the server before sending, so if time runs out, the email goes without the attachment. Watch the "Uploading Files" status bar and ensure large files finish uploading before the scheduled time.
Why are my scheduled emails not showing in Sent folder?
Scheduled emails sent through SKEDit won't appear in the Sent Items folder for a technical limitation. To retain copies of sent emails via SKEDit, consider "bcc"-ing yourself when scheduling. You can also create a dedicated mailbox folder and set up rules to group similar emails in that folder for easy access.
"Incorrect email and/or password" - How do I Reset my Password?
Password Reset:
- Click "Sign In."
- Select "Forget Password."
- Enter your account email.
- Follow the emailed link to generate a new password.
- Sign in with the new password.
Why is the Reset Password Email Not Showing in my Mailbox?
- Check Spam Folder: Look in your mailbox's spam folder; the email may have been flagged as spam.
- Verify No Blocks: Ensure your company's server hasn't blocked SKEDit's email. Contact your IT administrator to unblock noreply@skedit.io.
Why does My phone keep beeping/vibrating for no reason?
This can occur on certain Android OS as a "reminder" for unread notifications. How to Fix It
- Open device settings.
- Tap on "Notifications" or "Accessibility."
- Locate "Notification Reminder" and turn it OFF.
