Getting Started with SKEDit: What to Take Into Consideration to Get the Best Out of SKEDit
SKEDit allows you to schedule messages across
WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram, Email, and Calls.
This article will inform you of the key requirements and best practices
to get the best out of the SKEDit Android mobile app.
What Are the Best Devices to Use SKEDit On?
SKEDit is fully compatible with these device brands: Samsung, Motorola, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, Poco, Redmi, Tecno, Infinix, Realme, Oppo, Honor, and Huawei devices manufactured in 2020 and above.
For greater reliability, it is always recommended to use a newer
device with good performance and enough available storage.
Best Practices for SKEDit Android Mobile App
We offer 2 solutions: SKEDit Android mobile app and SKEDit Business for Web.
If you wish to schedule messages to unsaved numbers
or contacts that have not consented to receive messages
from you, it is important to note that
WhatsApp may restrict or block your account.
For this type of communication, we strongly recommend using
SKEDit Business for Web, as it was designed to schedule
messages to unsaved numbers, or WhatsApp accounts, that do not consent
to receiving messages from you.
Difference Between the SKEDit Android Mobile App and SKEDit Business for Web
SKEDit Android (Mobile App)
- Sends messages directly from your device.
- Supports multiple types of scheduling channels and schedule types.
- Supported scheduling channels: WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, Instagram, Messenger, Email, and Call.
- WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business schedule types: Contacts, Groups, Status, Communities, Channels, and Polls.
- Not a META partner — therefore, sending messages to unsaved numbers or non-consenting contacts may result in account restrictions.
SKEDit Business for Web
- Official META PARTNER using the official WhatsApp Business API.
- Allows scheduling messages to both saved and unsaved numbers, according to META rules.
- Provides verified delivery, higher delivery rates, and virtually zero risk of account restriction.
How SKEDit Works
SKEDit does not send messages from the cloud. Instead it uses your device to send messages at the scheduled time.
- ● Your phone must be ON.
- ● Your phone must be connected to the internet.
- ● SKEDit must be properly set up with all required settings configured.
Before You Schedule Your First Message
1
Open SKEDit.
2
Tap the
+
button on the home screen.
3
Select a channel (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc.).
4
You will be redirected to the scheduling screen.
Before scheduling:
- ● Tap the ⚠ red triangle at the top of the scheduling screen.
- ● Complete all required steps until all warnings are cleared. Incomplete setup = failed messages.
Scheduling Best Practices
- ● Do not schedule multiple messages at the exact same time.
- ● Leave a minimum of 3–5 minutes between messages to a single recipient.
- ● Increase the gap when each message has multiple recipients.
This ensures SKEDit has enough time to complete each sending process
properly.
Naming Best Practices
- ● Do not use duplicate names for contacts or groups.
- ● Avoid emojis in names.
- ● Avoid numeric prefixes like 001 John.
- ● Avoid names exceeding 25 characters.
- ●Rename broadcast lists before using them.
Recipients and Attachments for Greater Reliability
- ● Please do not add more than 250 recipients per scheduled message.
- ● Please do not add more than 10 attachments to a single scheduled message.
These limits are recommended for greater reliability, especially
on devices with lower performance or overloaded messaging apps.
