Can I schedule two or more WhatsApp messages to the exact same time?
No, you must not schedule two or more messages to the same time/minute. Each message should be scheduled to a unique time.
SKEDit automates message sending by mimicking user behavior in the screen. So, in the same way that you cannot manually send two different WhatsApp messages at the exact time, SKEDit cannot do so.
What happens if you schedule two messages to the exact time?
If you schedule two or more messages to the same time/minute, the following scenarios could happen:
-
One message could succeed sending, the other messages could either fail or stay pending
-
All messages could stay in Pending
-
All messages could fail
-
Recipient Mismatch: one of your scheduled messages could go to the wrong recipient
For those reasons, you must never schedule two or more messages to the exact time, as this will impact on the delivery reliability.
How to measure the amount of time to keep in between schedules?
The amount of time to keep in between schedules depends on how many recipients the first schedule has; you must keep enough time for SKEDit to complete automation of the first message before the second message schedule time is up.
To measure that amount of time, here is an estimate on the duration of sending from start till the status notification is received (affected by device performance):
// 10 recipients: ~35-45 seconds
// 15 recipients: ~50-60 seconds
